You can run Windows in OSX. Best of both worlds. Grin

Be interesting to see how FSX is handled by a full spec macPro.

Actually there is no need. As long as you have two drives, you can dual boot. OSX on one drive for editing, XP on the other for actual computing. And yes Vista has been booted on a MacBook Pro, and a Mac Pro.

If you read the article this guy has done that by partitioning his HD.

As for a macpro with a G8800, it is unlikely. I'd expect apple to wait a bit before choosing the DX10 graphics card they use.

Aparently there have been problems with dual booting off the same drive.

As for the G80 card, Mac will most likely never have need for DX10 cards. The G80 would come from a MacGamer useing XP.

I think Mac will have need for DX10 cards. Maybe not for gaming, but it won't be long before video and photo editing software start to require it surely. Thats why I said it was inlikely that Mac would put a G80 in the Mac pro, but wait for DX10 and the next gen of cards that come with it.

As for dual booting off the same drive, I was only pointing you at what the bloke in the article did.
