To see the fields for next SUN ozy trip I got "VOZAI110.zip" and installed it.

I checked on fs9 startup & there is nothing new in for Austarial.

Run fsNav db creator and it still does not show those fields.

YLGB in fs9 is Lord Hoew island.

Any advise on to go about it?

Hi Luke...

Have you got Settings > Scenery > Australia ticked off in the Flight Sim...?

(Unless you have all the World ticked off in the Scenery Settings, it's easy to miss a country out)..!

Don't forget you also need to activate the VOZ scenery for the flying area (VOZ Switcher).

YTEF = Telfer.
YAPA = Anna Plains Station.
YLGB = Bidyadanga.

Give me a shout anyone, if The VOZ Scenery Airfields appear to be different to the MS Default scenery Airfields!!
I'm picking up the flight plan according to my installed VOZ scenery!
....Which may be a problem for non VOZ users... Embarrassed...?

Is everyone picking up the following airfields OK?...YTEF, YAPA, and YLGB.

Cheers all...!

Paul.

Be aware...

Clipper has very kindly got his red pencil out as a Global Moderator, and dumped this Thread from the Multiplayer thread where it correctly refers to Jimbo's Sunday Multiplayer Australia Tour....and nothing else...!
...Non Multiplayers may therefore be confused as to its meaning, and why it has been placed here... Wink...!

Hi Luke...

When you have downloaded and installed the VOZ program, you should have a desktop Icon called "VOZ Switcher".

This enables you to select the various areas of Australia Scenery Type you wish to "run", North, South, East or West.
It appears as a Map of Australia, showing various Zones.

Note this VOZ scenery also improves the scenery throughout the rest of the FS 9 World as well... Cheesy...!

Paul... Cool...!

To anyone who has successfully downloaded and installed the VOZ scenery pack...

..It's well worth the effort...!

It has an amazing effect upon the ground scenery throughout the whole world when selecting different VOZ scenery areas for lush, temperate, and desert zones... Cool...!

That's the VOZ AI Traffic Pack which is completely separate. You need the VOZ scenery. VOZ 1.1 - VOZ 1.3 here. ----> http://vistaoz.org/downloads.html

The files are named VOZ11.zip, VOZ12.zip, VOZ121.zip & VOZ130.zip. Read the instructions carefully & install them in order, starting with VOZ 1.1.

Thanx all,   just managed to see the light & installed.

"....VOZ
AI PACK
version 1.10 - our
updated release
..............You
will find all
the major, regional and even small
airports will now spring to life
....."

                                   "VOZ AI PACK
(ALL VERSIONS)"

".....You do
NOT need to install or re-install VOZ versions 1.1 - 1.3
to use the VOZ AI PACK............."

"........PLEASE UNVOZ FIRST, BEFORE INSTALLING VOZ 1......"

All these when you enter the site, so confusing.

How do they expect me to unravel the above before I eperience what is coming.
A short explanation of the sequence to expect would get people to understand.
Well, never mind, it is upside down anyway.
Sorry Ozys, but I've been going round in circles, I should have stood on my head first.

I've just checked VOZ out & am suitably impressed. Foz is quite right & it's a fantastic piece of work. If you want to try it you only need VOZ 1.1. This is the download page. ---> http://vistaoz.org/downloads2.html

It's quite straightforward & works perfectly for me.  PLEASE read the instructions carefully before installing it. You can download them from the same page to read while the file is downloading.

If you liike it & wish to install the 3 updates this can be done at any time providing you install them in order & follow the instructions carefully.

PS. I forgot. You will need to install Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 HERE

Got voz 1.1 installed, VOZed Central & fs9 shows YAPA etc but not fsNav, even though I used its DBase installer.

Should I just VOZ North hoping they are there or now I need 1.2 or 1.3 till I get those fields?

Never seen such ass-about-face before.

The world scenery were plainly explained & had no difficulty.

MODIFY

Sorry none of the fields we need come up in fs9 either.

Got voz 1.1 installed,

Ah, well done old chap. Wink

VOZed Central & fs9 shows YAPA etc but not fsNav, even though I used its DBase installer.

Should I just VOZ North hoping they are there or now I need 1.2 or 1.3 till I get those fields?

You'll have to ask Foz about that. I note from the shot he posted that he has VOZ 1.2.
Did you activate the 3 VOZ folders in the Scenery Library as directed in the instructions?

The VOZ installer will have copied the following three (3) directories to your Flight
Simulator 9 \Addon Scenery folder:

• VOZ EZ-Library
• VOZ Scenery
• VOZ Landclass

You'll need to go into your FS2004 Scenery Library and add each of those areas
activate them. If you don’t activate them you’ll be missing out on some sensational
scenery all over the country and many enhancements to the landclass in VOZ 1.1

Never seen such ass-about-face before.

The world scenery were plainly explained & had no difficulty.

Not sure what you mean about world scenery. For such a complex update I thought installation was straightforward enough. Piece of cake providing you read those instructions carefully.

PS. If you decide to install VOZ 1.2 make sure you UNVOZ before running the installer.

Thanx Haggar, I did all those things as I understood that AiPack is not a subsitude for the other 3, as its name indicated.

They are in the right order in fs9 settings\scenery & in fsNav.

VOZED all areas and those fields are NOT shown in fs9 nor in fsNav.

Sorry word scenery ment "Global Terrain Mesh" in Svimv's Site Map.

Can you see the fields in fsNav mentioned in   http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1168524856

OK. As I said, you'll have to ask the Foz about that. I don't use FS Nav & never played online. I also installed all 4 VOZ scenery files so I don't know which fields were added by which update.

That AI pack is excellent. It populates all the bigger airports with authentic AI traffic. Check out your FS9\Aircraft folder. You might be surprised.

PS. The area selector is for the mesh & landclass. It shouldn't affect the airports/airfields.

They're unflyable AI traffic. You will see them on the airports & flying around the Antipodes. They're not doing any harm so I would leave them right where they are. You also get one flyable aircraft, the Piper Pawnee.

Thanx all,   just managed to see the light & installed.

"....VOZ AI PACK version 1.10 - our updated release ..............You will find all the major, regional and even small airports will now spring to life....."

                                   "VOZ AI PACK (ALL VERSIONS)"

".....You do NOT need to install or re-install VOZ versions 1.1 - 1.3 to use the VOZ AI PACK............."

Actually it sounds rather clear to me, or maybe its because i've been using it for so long. First of, it says VOZ AI Pack, which is completely seperate to VOZ Scenery. If you went to the download page, you wouldve seen the 4 versions of voz to download, and VOZ Ai sitting by itself. All the VOZ AI pack is doing, is adding traffic to your airfields. Thats all.

See how you go
