Two Skyhawk trainers of VT-7 are returning to their homebase before the night makes the raising storms even more dangerous for the young trainees.

...

This is the 2nd of a row of official artworks I am creating for Ron Zambrano's Razbam FS9 Add-on series.

It was my first go at handpainting a whole background that consists of more than a simple sky texture.

As it is it has a slightly odd aspect ratio as wallpaper. For the SSP members I made a "branded" 1280x960 (4:3 ratio) wallpaper. Feel free to use it if you don'T mind the logos:

Tabarnac...what a phenomenally phenomenal edit. Frame it, print up a couple of thousand and we're in business. Seriously though a beautiful image to look at. Nice....really really nice.

Hahaha  Grin Thanks Clipper, if it would be that easy. Seriously, there are some hurdles to get over to sell these. Firstofall the legal one. I dunno what MS would say if I make profit from an image their gfx engine created, not even mentioning 3d model creators, texture artsits etc etc.. And then there is still the real aviation art which is WAY beyond this humple thingy.. However, I printed it today (150dpi, 40cm width) on my A3 ink printer and it looks pretty splendid so never say never.

One word in general, I really like what you guys are diong with the simV screenshot workshops! It's really appreciated that you try to get this addictive screenshot thingy up one notch! It is something we at SSP and the mates at SSA tried as well by providing a helpful hand here and there but I think lots of people didn'T post over the time as they thought they couldn'T compete with the usual active members on either page. I remember me writing a pm invitation to krigl here, articulating how much i like his style and if he would like to share his work at SSP as well.. HE declined for these reasons. I want to say that we appreciate any kind of screenshot and level of experience. Developing and experimenting is already lot of the fun I have when doing them so please, don'T be afraid and jsut take part. If you enjoy this humble hobbie give it a go and use the chances that are given here and at the mentioned spaces, there are kind chaps around everywhere! Smiley
