Is this over-doing it?
I've seen it overused a lot on the site. Just wondering what y'all thought about it.

I personally don't think fisheye should ever be used...
...so far, in the past 4 or 5 years on this forum, I have honestly only seen one or two times when fisheye has actually helped a screenshot.
...it always makes everything look like either something out of "Pimp my plane" or a giant male body part (like your screenshot...)...

It can be good, but those cases are extremely rare. If the shot is only "working" with this effect (like your song-757-shot), then of course its fun and different to look at.

I've discussed this quite a bit too. Generally I think that it hurts a shot...but not always. As a fan of aggressive angles, sometimes it comes out in my shots. For example:
I like the way this shot turned out...personally I don't feel that the fisheye hurt it much.
Many people would disagree though.
I think that it's random...sometimes it looks good, sometimes it doesn't. Depends...

And in the diaries of one of the passenger stood, ( and I quote) " During the flight there seemed to be an afwul lot of vibrations"
Fishy eye can work but as said before only in small amounts as it usually screws pics up like it did in James's shot.

I've mucked with fisheye, but the results never turn out as well as a normal zoom. It might be used to add a sense of speed, but even then only in small amounts.

I almost never use it, but sometimes it turns out cool. Don't overdo it though...
