Just found out I may be making a second trip for work this month (after my return to chicago)... this time , i'm pretty excited, because it will be here:
Yes, an airport- but not an ordinary airport. look closer:
Can anybody guess which one it is?
The bad news: I'll be working on a conferencing system, which means I'll probably be spending most of the week or so here- which is pretty far from the action.
In fact I doubt I'll have clearance to enter the airfield itself, although I will have to jump through a few hoops just to get approval from the client (the DOD).
But let's hope my hotel is right under the approaches...
Cleaning the lens on my camera right now...

Eh, I knew one of you madmen would figure it out sooner or later...
Looks like I'll get word Monday; then most likely as soon as I get back from Chicago, I'll be off to Tampa, probably for a couple of weeks.
I was hoping to get down to Florida around this time to beat the winter blues, but wouldn't you know it- it's fucking 70 degrees in Newark right now...
