Actually the 727 was designed to be able to operate from dirt runways. But the is a nice video

With those rear mounted engines it was pretty capable of taking off from anything, except water, and maybe marmalade? Im just amazed at the small runway and the slope! You can even hear the stick shacker going off when they rotate!  Shocked

The only real concern I'd have is about uniform firmness of that strip... I guess it's very, very hard-packed. ..  Huh
