A B-24 seperated from its squad heading to Wake Island after endureing heavy battle damage. Stevenson the pilot and Smith the copilot bring the B-24 down to land...

Stevenson: "Alright were almost there, Call the tower and reqest landing, let them know possible damage to landing gear and other surfaces. Engine 4 has a fuel leak, but I think it will be ok for landing."

Smith: "Alright, Wake tower, were on final some possible damage to landing gear and other surfaces."
...

Stevenson:
"Hey look at Engine 2's gauge. Whats that all about? WOA!! Engine 2 fire! Cut the fuel to that engine let the Tower know we need a fire truck on standby!"

Smith:
"Fuel cut... Wake tower this is the B-24, our engine 2 is on fire we need a firetruck on standby!"
...

Smith:
"Left landing gear indicator isnt lighting, Check the left gear."

Stevenson: "I cant see it the fire must have severed the hydrolics! Inform the crew its going to be a rough landing"
...

Smith: "Hold her steady! You can do this!"

Stevenson: "Grab the yoke! We can do this better then me alone!"
...

Stevenson: "Alright were down, lets get the hell outta here!"

Smith: "Right behind you! Look theres the firetruck!"

Stevenson: "Good. Hope we never have to go through that again!"

Simple little story, not the best but I felt it added something to the shots.  Havent seen many stories recently so I figured I would post one  Grin

Oh and if anyone is interested I have a larger version on the last pic available, I think it would make a nice wallpaper  Grin Wink

Edit: Sim is FSX, man I love the failure options, just for fun I set the fuel pump to fail, engauged the aux and the engine was fine  Grin. Fire effects and sparks are nice even though you cant really see them here.
