I decided to try my hand at flame effects. This is the best edit ive ever done so far.

Is there anything that looks out of place?

Cool pic! The flame looks great. I'd add some smoke and some reflections of the light of the flame on the cowling and the wing area above the flame.

Looks superb, I wouldn't touch a thing. Interesting when the overall coloring of a pic supports the time or era it depicts. Wonderful edit....
