FSX begin flying (Read 223 times)

I have just received for Christmas FSX. I am somewhat experiences in FS2004. When I load a "free flight" and get to the starting screen I am always 2 or 3000 feet in the air and roaring along. I would like to take off myelf. Have I not switched somethingon or have I made a mistake somewhere. Any ideas. Thx

BE AN NDB

Hit the Alt key.. Then:   World, Go to airport...

That should put you on the ground  Smiley

Save the flight at that point..

Yes, or go to any airport you want, save it and make it default flight.
