Alps scenery (Read 141 times)

I recently figured out that photo sceneries can be quite nice for mountain areas....

I quite often fly to the alps, so I´d like some scenery. I know there is a mesh for the alps by Holger Sandmann, I´ll try that one....

But I think there were some photo textures, too.... I just can´t find such...

Another question, how do different meshes work together, like any scenery, with the priority setting, or do they still interfere if I have one in the Addon Scenery\scenery folder and another one in it´s own folder, that has a higher priority than the Addon Scenery\scenery folder ? I ask, as I have the alps partially covered by Scenery Germany....

For the French Alps France VFR does some very nice photo scenery. I also think there's some software from Aerosoft that does the Alps in Switzerland and Austria.

Right on that edge, but what I forgot to say, is that I´d like it for free, no money to put on the FS corner right now....

I know there were screens in the freeware section....

I think I figured it now, looking through the web for that scenery. There was a Holger Sandmann mesh for the Alps and Himalaya, but Photo-scenery only for the Himalaya area.....

Thanks anyway....
