I dont care how old this thread is but im posting anyways.

First of all i am a die-hard Ferrari fan i consider myself as an enthusiast, ive spent countless hours of reasearching about the car, and i WILL own one in the future. I am posting because most of what people said about Ferrari is not true and that some people are saying that there more eye candy and only are built for rich people and non enthusiasts. I agree that most poeple that own them are rich but most people buy them because they have a passion for them.  In my opinion Lamborghini is the eye candy car because they are flat, sleek and long with smooth curves but their desghn has not changed. every car they come out with  almost looks exactley the same as their last model they may be good at the straits but on the track they cant compete with the Ferrari or Porche. theres always been a rivalry between Porche and Ferrari and they both have their advantages and disadvantages.

People said the Porche has a better build qaulity than Ferrari. I cannont speak for porche but I do know that Ferrari hand builds every single conponent. when they build the engine conponents they use special xray type tools im not sure of the name of the tool but it checks for tiny cracks or anything thats not perfect. If there is a crack they send it back and remake it untill its perfect. They do the same with every other conponent also. They also hand make the interior. So Ferrari has a superior build quality. Im not saying Porche and lambos dont.

As for  performance and sound I belive that Ferrari is a track car and ALWAYS will be. Ferrari works closely with Pininfarina to make the body aeorodynamicly perfect for racing, like for example the F430 does not need a spoiler for exceeding 100mph because the aerodynamics kicks in an substantially helps the downforce of the car without the use of a spolier and i read that it sometimes will help the car go faster. The F1 transmissions that Ferrari is now producing can shift a gear in .60 miliseconds or faster. Im not going to sit here and write about its performances because there are to many to list especially about the modern cars so your going to have to do your own reasearch in that topic but i do think they are a track car as they build and desighn them for the track and can give any porche a run for its money. Many sources have stated that he F430 is perfect, ive watched that top gear show that tests out all the super cars and they said that the F430 is "perfect" and many other sources have said the same thing, but not just the F430 but the classic cars like the F40,250GTO etc. As for sound nothing will beat the sound of a Ferrari F355 its like sex for the ears.

So I was just sticking up for Ferrari because no one really posted anything about them and people have the wrong facts and i just think that people should do reasearch. I really think that it doesnt matter how fast the car is, how much it costs, or what it looks like, its all about what represents YOU. For me its Ferrari if i had to explain why you wouldnt understand.

Porches are common. I like Lambos, but I love Ferraris.
