I was cleaning some crap out through the add/remove programs just now, and I noticed this little bugger....

...

I noticed that both are slightly different sizes, so I just assume theres two copies of it installed... is this a common thing, or some freak accident?    Don't want to have two if it's just going to use up a mass amount of space, and which would be safe to uninstall?   Any help is appreciated

Looks like you've accidentally installed FS twice Shocked Unless of course you didn't remove the demo before installing the full version perhaps?

Have you added any add ons? Sometimes when you have add ons you will get more than one instance showing. I have a feeling if you uninstall one it will delete your whole installation.

Yeah, I have a bit of repaints and a couple of aircraft added on.  Is it because the computer is seeing these addons in the fsx folder, and it thinks it might be a whole new thing because they're not in the original install?   Seems kind of strange; and no, I got rid of the demo.

I think its just some glitch with addons.  I get that with FS9 and even have one in there thats the name of an addon but its 14GB.  And I'm sure that if you delete one it will really mess up FS. Wink
