Hello all

Today I went to best buy to buy IL2: 1946 but, there was none in stock in any best buy in my area.  Infact, none even had Il2 FB. They only had the original IL2 bundles with 2 other games.  Well, long story short, I come home with the bundle.

My problem is, there seems to be no where to patch IL2 to the latest version.

The official IL2 website did not even have it, only for Il2 FB.

I searched on gamespy and filefront and have come to nothing. Does anyone know where I can get the lastest Il2 patch?

You might be able to try and fire up Xfire (Logs hours you play, lets you talk to friends in games etc) and it may automaticly get you the patches (it is slow though)

Cheers, Gunny

The IL2 series patches start after Forgotten Battles which itself can be difficult to find.
This is why I try telling people to avoid the gamepak releases Wink

You may be able to find FB and PF separately at gogamer.com.

But by the time you purchase those and then download all the updates you have already spent more than 1946.

I havn't had it installed for awhile but i seem to remember it working just fine without any patches. The only one i had was for online play. You couldn't play online without it.
