I can not, for some strange unkown reason, unzip any of the files I download.  Is there a special program other than PK-ZIP that I should be using? Or am I doing something wrong?  Do I need an installer or something?
Ciao.

Just use WinZip or WinRAR and files should extract just fine Wink

Thanks.  I have tried CAM ZIP and PK ZIP to UNZIP.  Apparently, my problems result from either FIREWALL or VIRUS protection installed.  I will shut off and try again.  Thanks again.

The firewall might possibly cause problems downloading zipfiles but it should not affect unzipping/opening them. If you're using WinXP a separate unzipper utility like PKZip, WinRAR or WinZip is not necessary. The onboard "Compressed Folders" utility is all you need to install addons posted on the various big FS sites to FS. Download any zipfile from Simviation to any location on your hard drive. Then locate the downloaded file & right-click on it. Select "Extract All" from the drop-down menu & follow the Wizard.

PS. I suspect your problem is in downloading the zipfiles rather than unzipping them. This could be caused by your browser security settings.

Thanks.
I think you, who have responded, are all RIGHT!  I feel too, that it was FIREFOX browser and not the unzipping.  I think it might even be the download accelerator progtam DAP that causes gliches because I have downloaded before and had no problems.  Thanks again and I will try all the advice give.
