...I just got a Visa Gift card and want to by one piece of payware.  Im between 2 paywares:  The Captain Sim 757 (just block B) and the Cloud9 LAX.

If the CS 757 easy to operate?  I don't want to buy it if I have to learn FMC and all that stuff.

What would you suggest?

EDIT: Maybe I should just buy both!  It's only 30 bucks together...but still, is it worth it?

The 757 is nice, as far as I know, it doesn't have advanced systems yet, but they will be modeled and released sometime.

The CS 757 is extremly easy to operate. There is no advanced sysems yet. Beware it can be very heavy on frame rates. I dont have KLAX so I can not comment on that.

Don't worry about the FMC stuff on that CS757...It hasn't been developed yet...The CS 757 is quite hard on FPS, so be warned..Cloud9's LAX looks very nice. but since I never fly in the LAX area, I don't know what it's like...Andy (Eno) here has it and he says it's quite good...Get in touch with him...He can help you out best since he has it...

Ask yourself this question.....

Would you rather a piece of scenery that limits you to one particular area or....
Would you rather multiple liveries of an aircraft that you can fly all over the globe or....
Would you rather BOTH Paywares so you can take off from KLAX in your CS 757, fly multiple liveries all over the globe, then come back and land at KLAX?

I just installed the CS757 Wink

Dave, whenever I buy a scenery I make a point of flying to it, so it doesnt really limit me.

I still have plenty of money left thanks to the CS sale, so LAX isn't out of the question, but right now I need to go try out my 757 Wink

its basically running like FSX but with FS9 goodness.  I don't know how much Ill be flying it.  I guess when Im in a 757 mood its good, but right now im not the biggest fan.  I love my overland models more.

It wasnt a waste of money, but Im glad I got it on sale...

If only I could improve its performance....

IMO the lack of FMC is the nr 1 biggest con of that plane, once you've learned every single  feature of the FMC you want it in every plane Roll Eyes

I agree, but I don't have the CS757; that's most likely why.  Roll Eyes
