I am new to this forum and was wondering if someone could tell me if my computer can handle Microsofts new FSX.

Gateway
Intel pentium D 940
Dual Core each core running at 3.2 Ghz, 800Mhz, 2x2 MB L2 Cache
NVIDA GeForce 6200
Hard Drive: 500 GB SATA 2
Memory: 2048 MB DDR2 Dual Channel
9-1 Memory Card Reader

I am not sure... the 9-1 card reader might cause problems....

Just kidding.  Looks like you got a few more horses than me, and I am running FSX.

When you get it, play with the graphics sliders till you find an optimum setting.
The GPU is probably your weakest link ITs gonna hurt you the most.
Gateway skimped you one that one...
If any part gives you trouble, thats going to be it.
I am running a GeForce 6800, and I have to have car and boat traffic down real low, or else I will stutter.
How much memeory is on that GPU makes a difference too... but I have no idea what is optimal for FSX.   Probably the new 8800 card.  They run 400USD  to 800USD easy.
