Runway lights in the air? (Read 1690 times)

Hi guys, I think I may of spotted a FSX bug, unless there's something wrong with my game  Undecided

Anyways basically the night lights on the end section of certain runways seem to be floating in the air slightly - This screenshot was taken at EGNM Runway 32 (please have a look yourself to confirm, ty):

NOTE: These lights are on the actual runway (tarmac) where you take off from, they are NOT on the grass.

Is this an error made by ACES or is it supposed to be like this?

arent those just in the background? i think it's the angle that your looking at it that makes it look like its in the air

They aren't in the background and they ARE in the air!! Can you please check for me? Smiley

alright just took a look and yeah they are a couple feet in the air. i dont know about other airports but this one definately has magical floating runway lights haha

- if i remember correctly that happens at all big airports, something to do with your POV and if they are flat on ground then the user cnt "read" them properly

yes, they are HOVERING... Shocked

those lights are for some reason, set about 2 feet above the ground..... very odd indeed Huh



not odd enough to spoil my flight tho Cheesy i happen to agree with the above signature Grin Grin Grin

im not sure if the laughing face means you are joking or not, but POV stands for 'Point Of View'
