I know it aint to everybody's taste but I was thinking about the great time I had at Download Festival and since I've been at university that I severely miss gigging. Kent has a veeerrry small music scene basically there are about 5 bands including the one that I'm in doing the pub scene and that's it.

So anyway to the point, I miss metal and so heres a few vids that keep me sane lol.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DqXoXoH0yYg ;  -  Pantera's Primal Concrete Sledge Live, I think this is the definition of the word brutal Grin

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dQBSVmGqmo ;  -   Alter Bridge with Metalingus. I love this song and I was at this gig, I think the best I've been to.

http://www.downloadfestival.tv/mofo/watch/461/ ;   -   Lacuna Coil's full set at Download last year. I was there (in fact you can see me at the begining) I was really surprised how good they were. For such a heavy band they are really tuneful.

Sooooo anyone else like metal? It's not my only form of music that I enjoy but hell is it the most fun live, there were many circle pits and lots of crowd surfing at Download.

I've been a MetalHead since school, Maiden, Priest etc so love it all. I sang in a Metal band for a few years and I'm currently looking to start my own.
ROCK ON!!!

Well, I was playing Black Sabbath tunes back in the early '70's, along with Crimson and Tull tunes, so I guess that counts for something.  I was fortunate to have a great bass player and a drummer who could cut the tunes authentically.
