Sim-pilots,
Stopped on by to inform you that Tasman Pacific is now accepting new pilot applications again. We are one of the longest standing virtual airlines on the web and have been in operation for over 6 years. At Tasman Pacific you can do everything from piloting the "big iron" to bush flying and "flight-seeing" . You see, at Tasman Pacific it's all about the pilots. You can have your flights assigned weekly by our very own dispatcher or you can choose every flight you fly and the aircraft you use, it's completely up to you.
We have unique timetables for each of our departments and realistic custom repaints for all of our aircraft (compatible with FS9 and FSX) which include:
Tasman Pacific Timetable - which contains all of our national and international airline transport flight operations in the Fokker 50, Fokker 70, Boeing 737-600/700/800/900, Boeing 747-400, Boeing 757-200, Boeing 777-200LR, and the Airbus 330-200;
Tasman Tours / Scenic Timetable - which contains all of our "tours" in the Bell 206B JR, Cessna 182S, Maule M7-260 Amphibian, Aero Commander 520, De Havilland Dash 8-Q100, and the Embraer 170 (Our tours are a series of flights in a particular aircraft that include bush flying, "flight-seeing", national tours, and international tours / we also currently have a massive ATW (Around The World tour in progress);
Tasman Pacific Cargo Timetable - which contains all of our national and international cargo flight operations in the Boeing 727-200F, Boeing 747-200F, and the McDonnell Douglas DC10-30F;
Tasman Pacific Executive Timetable - which contains all of our executive charter flight operations in the Bell 222B, Cessna 182SE, Embraer Legacy 600, and the Airbus 319-ACJ;
AbelAir timetable - which contains all of Tasman Pacific's, low cost carrier, AbelAir flight operations in the Airbus 319-200.
We have customized voice packs, customized AI traffic, flight log sheets, and other features which all help to add to the immersion factor while flight-simming. We have an automated Flight Report system (TPM - Tasman Pacific Manager) that is easy to use, compatible with both FS9 & FSX, and unique from any other system you may have already tried, as it was created from scratch by one of our very own pilots (who also happens to be a computer programmer).
Lastly, we have some very experienced flight-simmers and a realworld pilot to provide assistance with virtually every aspect of flight-simming. At Tasman Pacific we are a group of flight simulation enthusiasts who pride ourselves on helping each other to get more enjoyment and fun out of this great hobby!
Stop on by our forums (The Pilot's Lounge) and spend a few minutes. Check out some of the flight reports and screenshots our members have posted. If you like what you see then fill out an application. All you need is a desire for flight-simming and the ability to respect others that share your interest in flight-simming as well. We schedule multiplayer sessions on our servers with formation flying, ATC services, or whatever else our members would like. We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we do take having fun with flight-simming and helping each other out seriously! We'll be looking forward to meeting you.
Best regards,
Dave (TP173)
