Hey! Calm down chaps.
I meant "Generalised" talking as something which would be discussed for hours on end. I HAVE no objection to talking, just as long as people are paying attention.
Regarding the Default aircraft.
Let me cover a few issues up.
It has come to my attention over the Tours that not alot of people are following the speed suggestions fairly, so in return i'm left behind, trying to catch up, with my engnes on full power. GA TOURING IS NOT THIS, it is a gentle and pacing sport, so i simply STARTED MY FLIGHT IN A DEFAULT AIRCRAFT then switched to the one i wanted. Easily done.
So please chaps, dont argue and fly fair. Its just a hobby. And if we can all make use of this, we can all have fun.
All friends?
Next weeks flight will be changed over to Saturday for the Christmas theme "Switzerland Explorer".
Cheers, Stay tuned, and be Good. 'cos we are a friendly bunch!
Case Closed?
James
So what's up with Saturday (tomorrow)? Still on? I may be able to join in between 7PM and 8PM your time... Switzerland... perfect in Jungmeisters (or similar).
I know I'm a "newb" to these tempting tours, but I know how it ought to be done, having just this last Sunday flown in loose touring "formation" with me in a 172 and a friend in an RV-4... in real life... good pilotage and compromises in speed make it simple and fun.
Are all the regulars set up for voice comms? I'm still typing (long story). I really don't need to talk to anyone, I suppose... on these real-life flights, even using a "nonstandard" freq, we don't talk much unless we're going to change something.
Just looking over and seeing that familiar plane alongside is what it's all about...
Well... that, and critiquing each other's landings... ;d
