I have an old hp pavilion, It exceeds the minimum system requirements but is still running 98se and I need a graphics card.
A new computer is in the future but I want to run this game now.
Can anyone reccomend a graphics card that will work well in this old P.C?

Can you post some specs? A good AGP card would be best. Something along the lines of a Voodoo3, ATI, or Diamond card should fill your needs. If you plan on running 3dfx games get the Voodoo3. You can still find specs and system requirements for most of the older cards.

Well my freind.
As for your specs, you might go flying, but you will not get much from the game, so why spend money on a graphic card now. Wait for the future new pc.
Anyway. You proberly don't have a agp port, then you must find a pci card, nvidia or ati. I think you can get a used for a cheep price. That is my advice.

CFS2 should run fine on a 400MHZ celeron with graphics at low to medium levels. I've run it on a 266MHZ PII MMX with acceptable results. I have also installed AGP graphics cards in mid-90's Pavilions. So obviosly some do have AGP slots. Decent graphics cards for this machine can be had for cheap on places like eBay. Usually around <$20.
Just a little research should uncover a good, inexpensive solution. Some cards I have used include Diamond Viper V330, Nvidia TNT64, & Voodoo3. All provided acceptable graphics and gameplay on a Win95/98se machine using 32MB of RAM, later upped to 128MB.
