In fsx multiplayer the time and season, weather, and select aircraft settings are not available. Has anyone else noticed this? Surely microsoft didn't intentionally disable these settings. In fs9, they work the way they should. Is there a fix for this?
It appears that Microsoft has intetionally taken out those settings as they seem to interfere with online sessions. For example: Every time someone changes aircraft or time of day during flight, the sim has to do two things at once:
1. Maintain a steady connection [as best as possible].
2. Load up the new changes.
Add to that the fact that the loading time in FSX takes as long as 5 minutes to complete. Therefore, making these changes during an online session in FSX is out of the question. Besides, taking out these functions seemed to have benefited FSX as the online function is more stable than FS9's online function. But this is just my opinion, so I could be wrong.
