Oooohhhhh my goodness!
Here's the scoop... last month we had some terrible flooding and moved all the airplanes to higher ground on the airport, and those that were not grounded left for other airports that wouldn't have any problems. I assumed that the Cessna 208 Grand Caravan that Skydive Snohomish (on-field skydive school) uses had simply been relocated like the others. Well several weeks went by since the water had gone down and I just thought they hadn't brought it back due to poor weather and no business.
Today I was proven wrong! I was outside washing a plane when I heard that distinctive sound of the Caravan on final, but I was somewhat confused as it looked really shiny, and completely different. I thought it was just another plane coming in (even though we NEVER get other Caravans in here) as I didn't catch the tail number. So I ran to get a better view as she taxiied past and my jaw hit the floor when I saw it was N9829B!!! The Caravan the school uses... all decked out in the dead-sexiest paint job EVER!! I may be partial because I'm the one who fuels it up every time and washes it every week. Man I'm itchin' to get some pictures!
but anyway, it didnt' arrive until late dusk and was unable to get any pictures of it, but you can bet I'll post some tomorrow! It's so cool to see such a big plane with such a gorgeous, SHINY, paint job!
The previous paint job was identical to one of the default skins for FSX's Caravan...
So here are the before pictures:
