Can some one show me where the article is on changing the default Cessna on the start up page to an aircraft of my choice, I believe it also had information from changing Megis to the pilots choice of default airfields

It's called the help files, and "Saving FLights".

Basically, you set up your desired default flight - your base, your airplane, etc., and save the flight. When saving, you get the option of setting it as the default.
