First some night vision goggles:
Focusing in on the target:
The editing wasn't supposed to make them look pretty or realistic, but do you think i accomplished the effect i was looking for in each?

...night vision...
...Focusing...
I think that was what he was talkin about.
And those are some damn wicked shots dude.
I totally love them both.
But the 2nd is just... wow... really like the effect of almost blocking out everything else for a moment and focusing on your enemy.
Way cool, dude, way cool... Simple and quite, quite ineresting.
Check out my PAYWARE quality, FREEWARE release of DominicaX.

#2 is really nice, however I dont like the first one. It seems a little too grainy.

The first was supposed to be grainy. It was supposed to look like what a person wearing nightvision goggles would see. Its not exactly pretty, but i thought it made a cool effect. A soldier that was dropped off by the helicopter for a night mission glances up at it as it takes off.
And yeah, the effects i was talking about were night vision and focusing.

I guess I'm strange but I really like the first one, and think it looks great. Not too keen on the second, too much is blurry though I can see what you were trying to do. I think the target has already evaded you given the angles of the planes, but I might be wrong.

Not with Immelman's amazing piloting skills!
thanks for the comments everyone, much appreciated.
Krigl, i found that if i decreased the blur any more then your focus wouldnt go right to the sabre, which is what i was hoping would happen, although you might be right.

the first one is good, maybe for NVG's a little to grainy.
the second one is good, what kind of blur did you use for it??
if you where to spend a little more time on number 2 it would look awesome if you added some motion blur to the scenery. it would realy finish the pic off.
