Played with an early version of FS, maybe version 3 or 4 ... in fact, I think I still have the book and maps that came with it.. and then did not fly again till FS9.  Loved it, and I love FSX even more.

Anyway, to my question:  since this version supports wide screen monitors, does it just stretch it, or does it actually creat a wider viewing angle on the screen?

Can the viewing angle be changed in the config? The current view represents an certain number of degrees of angle, left right, up and down?  Can that be increased?

Right now I have a standard square monitor, but I also have a projector I like to hook up when my daughter and I go flying.  She is 8, and loves it. (She always gives a big sigh of relief when we land).

I have a screen I can curve slightly, if I can increase the angle on the curved screen, it would look cool.
Let me clarify, If I can increase the view angle that I project onto the curved screen, I can get a slight wrap around effect, not all the way around...but a little bit.
