So this is in the wrong forum, but it looks like a lot more people are reading this forum than the CFS1 forum.  Maybe I'll get some replies here...or maybe it will get moved.  I'll give it a try anyway.

I've CFS1 for about 6 years now, and one of the things that has always bugged me is not being able to bring up waypoints during combat.

For example, my planes damaged and I'm out of ammo.  So, what should I do?  Fly home obviously!  I am of no further use on this mission.  But I can't use the "skip action" feature since there are "enemies near by" and I can't find a map to bring up that will help me navigate my way home.  I've had this game for about 6 years now, and one of the things that has always bugged me is not being able to bring up waypoints during combat.

Does anyone know how to bring up a map or waypoints during combat?

You can try to just keep flying as far away from the enemy as possible.once the enemy is out of sight it should let you warp.
