Alright.... I am not happy, lately I noticed my broswer (IE7) Crashing, programs I dont even know about popping up crashing and such, so I finally managed to get ad-aware to update today and scanned, a crap load of results... I have also been having random adds pop up outside of IE as well... So when done, Restarted, let it do it again got rid of everything right? Nope.... Still Those bloody random pop ups. Any ideas?

Gunny (I'm too lazy to search google today)

Along with Ad-Aware, get SpyBot S&D and SpywareBlaster. Check what's running in the background. Look for programs with unusual titles, such as random strings of letters &/or numbers. Some freeware programs generate ramdom pop-up ads.

There are many spyware/viruses that name themselves after Microsoft programs. Process Explorer will tell you if it MS and not, or you could track down the exe.

Get Opera, you won't even need a virus scanner after you get it..... Trust me.
