They shouldn't be. What are you doing?  ..... & I presume you have a connection that CAN be fast?

Thanks

Hi - yes it does seem slow to me to today. I'll take a look at things.

Don't worry -  this will be fixed.

OK I'm getting around 180KBPS right now.

Haven't done anything. I was just about to contact support at our provider & checked to provide evidence.

All seems OK now - which would indicate global/network traffic rather than Simviation.

This is something I constantly monitor. I'll keep a special check later & over the next few days too.

Thanks for the alert. Always very much appreciated.

My last two dowloads (Tuesday  12-5  1900Z ) were at 30kbps +/-

Much slower than the 150+ I was getting.  I just figured it's server-move growing pains..

Seeing to this :
I  have been told the connection will be exactly the same plug as the old machine(s)
Being seen to right now. I have sent a message to support to see what this could be.

Apologies for inconvenience.

Just a heads up. Slow downloading a military file. 1st try in the 20's, 2nd try started around 178 then dropped to 30's, 3rd try in the 30's.

Apologies people. The heading on the main page takes you to page that states we are aware of this & are working on it. It *seems* to be not straight forward.

Like I say - it WILL be fixed & fixed soon.

It's NOT OK & will be fixed once we can determine the cause

So far checked : software OK, network card OK, network cable replaced, router 'shoudl be OK' but.....

I'm going to ask the guys to simply swap the location of this box for the last one. It will mean 30 mins off air. This has happened before - exactly the same in 2001 - relocating the box resolved the problem.

A big Thank You Pete to you and your team for speeding up the downloads. My post was only to let you know it was slow yesterday not a complaint. Again Thanks. The site is looking great!      Smiley
