Hi:

I play fs9 and earlys for years, and always play with the keyboard... and I used the key 0 (numeric keyboard) to center the alerons...
Now, in FsX, I want to do this, and it's not work... 0 in the numeric keyboard bring me to the normal view from the virtual view... in fact, I tried with various keys, with the "," and others and nothing works...
Like me, all the asignment whats I try, not working...

Also, in the Spot view... with de Fs9 we do shift-enter to "down" the view, and shift-backspace to "up" and in FsX not working...

What I am doing not right ?? I must use joystick ? How I tell the FsX, I want to use just keyboard ?

TIA and sorry for my poor english...

Hi & welcome. I thought it was about time someone answered this. Some of the key commands have changed but they should still be there.

To centre the controls use Num Pad 5.
To raise/lower seat in Cockpit View - Ctrl + Q & Ctrl + Shift + Q.

"Now, in FsX, I want to do this, and it's not work."
SHFT+F10 in FSX will answer all your keyboard_keys' questions.

Not all commands are listed & the meaning is not always apparent.

There are a lot of new key commands in FSX & some have been changed from the ones you're familiar with. You can't change the assignment if the key is already assigned to another function.

"Not all commands are listed . . . "
Roger that, and for Obvious reasons
We were flying
3500' and opened the FSX keyboard_key file in the kneeboard and it was dragging along the ground! Scary!

Is clear I can't change a key assignment to another... The problem is: I chose and empty key (I see "key available" o something like this)... But it does not work, anyhow...

The default works good, but is not comfortable for me...
Help, I want to change !!!! (Do I return to fs9?)

Regards

Sorry. I have no idea why you can't change the assignments. Works fine for me.
