My democratic duty is done...  Grin

frankly I was a bit dissapointed with the overal quality of this  month's competition... Most shots weren't that inspired ( including mine... the early birds seem hard to be catched the right way), but I must say this is a nice bunch of finalists... best of luck guys!  Wink

You know I thought that this time I really had a chance... I guess that 1200+ views and 20+ responses were not enough...  Sad

I used to think that once upon a time. Turns out judges don't look for that. You have to "wow" them early on so that you get a chance. They don't determine who's there choice by who the audience seems to favour. Otherwise people like Wasp would win all the time... Grin Grin

Anyway, theres always another chance next mont... I guess...  Undecided

But that's the perfect attitude...

Votes in. Gd Luck guys!

Well, it was a tough choice, but me vote's in. Wink

I always knew I never had a snowball's chance, so I'm not disappointed that I didn't make it. As for those that did, I was quite impressed, there's some really cracking shots here!

I guess this will also be my last comp, considering that FSX will probably be allowed now, and the fact that Clipper's coming back. The bar will be raised so far up, it'll go into orbit, and I'm afraid I simply can't keep up! Embarrassed

Disagree with some of the choices for finalists (hold your fire Admins  Grin) but all in all they are all great shots and good luck to the finalists.

I think a lot of people were distracted with the pre-release and then release of FSX.  Wink

My vote is in after looking at them a million times....

Most of my favorites got in, one of them really stood out for me compositionally, great colours, original... he got my vote. Good luck to all!

FSX allowed next time? No panic all you FS9-ers - the old girl's got a lot of life in her yet.

Mind you, doing the old 'place the plane, crank all the settings to maximum, switch on light bloom and reflective water etc, then shoot' trick could produce some FS9 beaters with ease I suspect. Let's hope noone thinks of doing that... Roll Eyes Cheesy
