Only one thing....on the UAL pic I suggest to ithor make the lense flair bigger if its suppost to be the sun, or move it over to the left more to mimic a nav light. Also if its going to be a nav light, you should also add one on the other side and nose gear.

accually... the intention... was that the "halo" effect is that the lightsource (sun) is above and to the right of the frame... the flare you see is the light refection or glint coming of the leading edge of the wing from that angle.
