Hi,

I have a quick question about a file Im looking for.  I can't seem to find it despite looking here on Simviation, FlightSim.com, Avsim or FSplanet.  I'm looking for the ORIGINAL aircraft carrier package by Javier Fernandez and Richard Hogan.  I found the update to this package (carr2006.zip on FlightSim.com) with AFCAD2 runways and all by R. A. Baum, but keep in mind that this is not the original package.

I HAVE TWO KEY QUESTIONS:

  1. If the update is downloaded, does it contain the "update part" WITH the original work to ack as a new package, or is it ONLY the update part??

  2. If the above update is ONLY the "update part", what is the filename of the original package?

Any help on this is greatly apprecited!! Smiley

Richard Hogan went payware a few years back & requested (unfortunately) that all his freeware files be removed. Not many people have done that. Hogan was mainly the author of the arrestor cables for carriers. He began to sell them through 'Abacus', I believe, who insisted the freeware versions be removed.

So you may not find the file you are looking for.

However the 'Stennis' by Javier Fernandez was 1st developed for FS2000 & modified into FS2002/2004 by various people.

The main Q from me would be:

If you want a good Stennis carrier  ( a great Carrier!) - search 'stennis' & take the FS2004 results.

or .... what is it you want?

Think Global. It's the world we live in.
