Inspired by the monthly screen shot contests, I decided to try my hand at making some screen shots of my own. The following were done in FSX with the Wings of Power Spitfire MkIa. I used flight recorder to do the formation flying. Here are the shots for critique (I didn't have anti aliasing on in the first one):

Some other questions. Is there a way to get the menu bar to go away without having to crop the photo? When playing back a recording as traffic, the replayed airplane was very jittery, making it hard to fly formation with. Is this just something I'll have to deal with, or is there a way to get the traffic replay to fly smooth?

Welcome Splinter.. Smiley Glad you choose StudioV for your initial post. You seem to have a great eye for perspective, excellent first set! If you haven't already gotten a good image processor, here's a great one to start out with..Irfanview..http://www.simviation.com/fsutilities_gen3.htm
It'll help you with cropping, sharpening, contrast etc. I've taken the liberty of "Irfing" one of your pics to show you a bit of what it can do. Keep in mind though that once you adjust sharpness, contrast etc, the pic falls into the "edited" categoy and must be posted in appropriate forums (here, edited screenshots etc). Feel free to jump in on any of our StudioV's ongoing contests, I think Judges Choice "Krigl" might be a good starting point. I'm sure one of the gang will answer your "recorder" question shortly so hang in and enjoy SimV..the ONLY Sim place to be...
