I was going to put this in the "what song thread", but thought it could go in its own thread. . .because it is not really listening

. . . So I just watched the St. Anger music video (Metallica). . .by far the most intense music video i have ever seen!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zbuk96kW9LM

For those of you who don't know San Quentin is a supermax prison in California, and it is where all of the states executions are performed. It houses California's Death Row. The intro to the movie is real. The video won a MTV VMA for its innovation.
Some real bad guys in there (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Quentin#Notable_inmates).

True bloody and twisted, and just plain sick. I guess I didn't do a good job of explaining what I ment by "intense". The thing about the St. Anger video (not a big fan of the song) is that San Quentin is real, the prisoners are very real, and the speech at the beginning is real. Maybe it is only creepy for Californian's. San Quentin is Alcatraz's replacement.

btw. . .children under 18 should not research those videos.

San Quentin houses most of the most dangerous criminals known to man, and I cannot imagine a better place for them...Wink...!

B-Man lives in Los Angeles, an area well known for its horrendous crime activities, and where a large percentage of it's population end up in San Quentin!

I get sent the various US newspapers every day via the Internet, and the amount of really wild, dangerous criminals I read about there always amazes me...!

Robbery, ending in fatal shootings (guns!) accounts for the majority of crime, and these folks obviously end up in San Quentin awaiting their shot of chemicals (in California) to ease the prison overcrowding.

Surprisingly, although Alcatraz has always appeared in the flight sims, San Quintin prison building, (close to San Rafael Bridge), has never been included...Shocked...!

I regularly fly over the area in the sim, and therefore I have included the prison buildings in my scenery, with the help of LAGO's FSE, and Abacus's EZ-Scenery designer programs... Grin...!

An excellent video, showing a selection of the inmates...
...(would you want one of them living next door to you...I don't fink so...)...Wink...!

LOL... Grin...!

Paul... 8)...!

P.S. As a nice, quiet, peaceful alternative, give this a try...>>>
