The results are in and we've got our players for round three. So, without further delay...if you've made it to here.....BATTLE ON! Because we have an odd number of people advancing, I thougt it would be interesting if I challenged one of you. If you beat  me, you advance. If I win, you're eliminated but I don't advance. Same for next round, if there's an odd number of winners, we'll pick another mod to even up the numbers.

The Matchups for round three:

Californian Coastlines

HEATHAZE...
VS
CSPYRO ...  Judge: Krigl

Aviation Oddities

  lilley...
VS
BAW0343 ...  Judge: Theis

Wild Card!

vavaoom...
VS
Cloud9flyer ... Judge: mic

Forgotten Warriors

  Omag...
VS
  Clipper ...  Judge: Fly2E

The Categories:

...Comb the beaches of California, slow ride, long sandy beaches, bikinis get you bonus points..freeware, no editing

Forgotten Warriors

Aviation Oddities.....  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

i must have had the three worst categories for me so far!!! i had no experience in either of the first two categories, but now htis is something i doubt anyone has any experience in....

should be good, and the standard is increasing at an alarming rate!!!

james

and clipper my hats off to you with this, such a good idea, will it be repeated in time to come, or a one off?

8 contestants left, and the tension is being ratcheted up - who is going to make it to the finals.....?? Shocked

I'm looking forward to some lazy Californian shots - autumn greyness is pressing down on us out in Czechland.....

Ooh, I got the wildcard to judge this time.

Omag vs Clipper is gonna be a killer!

.Mic

How about now we are near the end, and the competition is heating up, the judges give some comments as to what they liked and why they chose that pic, 'cos I know it would help me next time I want to take a good screenshot to get different opinions on various techniques.
What do people think about this? Good idea? Just a suggestion?

I think like any other competition (unless stated) the judges don't need to justify their choices... that's what makes it a competition.

I submited a post for people to comment my entry at screenart wars and had 3 or 4 replies, so you would be lucky if you have any comments...
