I need some advise.

I downloaded Mike Stone's Hercules C 130 (made for FS 2004) - it gives some problems in FSX but I can fly with it. But I have no sound. I fly in complete silence.

Can anyone advise me how to get the sound back?

Thanks,

Rob

The sound of Mike Stone's C-130 is aliased to the FS9 default C208. If you have no C208 with its own sound files in the same directory as the C-130 in FSX you will get no sound. The answer is to re-alias Sound.cfg to an aircraft you do have or find a suitable C-130 sound pack for it.

Hagar,  thank you.

I saw the C 208 does not exist in FSX, it is the C 208B now. I changed this in the CFG file - and now I have sound!

By the way: does this site have soundpacks? I couldn't find it.

Problem solved!
