now i do enjoy FSX and its awesome just wondering if anyone else has had these problems

I get similar reactions with my system. I only have 512Mb in my Dell 2.6 with Geforce4MX420. Has a real hard time at some airports, but runs fine at high level. I get 20FPS in clear skies, but will crash after a short flight on finals if I have VC open or GPS. I assume it's the same problem as FS9 in that the program (remembers) every thing you do in the flight and runs your pc out of virtual memory. I increased the VM to a few gigs of HD space and it's ok for light aircraft. I'm adding another 1/2gb stick and waiting for a DX10 card to see if I can still get a half decent approach on visual.

Yup, modern day programs suck up the memory after a while. Glad to hear you got it semi-fixed.

increasing VM just caused loads of texture problems such as them not appearing, floating tree's etc.. so thats not done it

mite just be FSX being ghey

Well, with 512MB your not really getting far nowadays with anything. I got 1024MB and should seriously upgrade for all the apps that use the memory.

i have 1024mb of RAM and 512mb of video memory, i think the VC freezing was just due to FSX being FSX, bugs and things. aint had any problems like that since so nevermind
