does anyone know whether this is going to be in any way FS9 compatible.

i need a new computer before i can make the upgrade and that shud be coming in the next few months, maybe over Christmas as i bring in some money.

anyone know?

Presume that it will not be FS9 compatinle.  The FSX models and configurations are significantly different.  It's like an FS9 model in FS2002.

Formation-space flight.  races around the world in a single session.  Those would be fun. 

This shuttle look a lot better than the orbiter one.

Seriously.........

Form my experiences with many happy (but long and often boring) hours flying Orbiter from years ago, for those who expect to "fly" this thing in order to do stuff like docking to space stations, get ready for a REAL learning curve.

Orbital mechanics is a LOT different than powered flight in air.  There is a reason that astronauts spend all that time training  Wink.  If they model it realistically this wiill not "zoom around" like an X Wing in Star Wars.  Grin

Once re-entry is complete and the control surfaces have some "bite", you are flying a glider that sinks like a rock.  But up in space....... it is a different game.
