I recently got F1 view and i think its really useful when in VC.  It is much easier and quicker to use than the recorder.  Tell me what you think of this one.

I really like what you did with the "scenery through the wings" perspective. The colors are rich, great choice of an interesting aircraft and paint. The clouds look a little "puffy" but hey, that's me...nicely done Immelman  Smiley

It's great! Shame so few aircraft have 'full' VC's, though understandable really....

that's a beautifull picture.

I would just say the water is too blue and the ground is too dark. but ok, that's picky...

I would call it "FSX style", due to the same angle as some new camera angles introduced with FSX.

Yes but with recorder you dont need it.  You can put the recorder camera anywhere on the outside, so you could get these views without a VC.

There is really no point in 'picking and choosing' betweed F1View and Recorder.  Each is useful for its own reason.  F1View is helpful for screenshots because you can zoom in and move the camera back, allowing you to focus on scenery but still see the whole aircraft, and it lets you move the camera in and out without changing zoom.

Recorder is different.  In spot view you can set up off center shots and interesting angles (not as extreme as Walk and Follow), you can create wingviews if a plane doesnt have one, and with the new VC views you can setup different viewpoints in the VC.  Tower view is great for taking 'scenery' shots or getting cool angles on landing and takeoff.

So I suggest you use both.  Recorder is complicated and may take some time to learn, but I promise to do a Jake's Take on it in the near future to help those who can't or don't have the time to figure it all out, heck, I am still learning all its perks Wink
