This weekend I was up in Ellensburg Washington visiting my girlfriend when I received a call from work, asking that I come in to help out on my day off.  We've received an incredible amount of rain over the last few days and the area is flooding.

I wasn't able to make it to the airport where I work until around 4:00 today but helped move EVERYTHING out of our maintenance shop and helped move a few airplanes for the customers.

It is soooo errie to walk around the airport and see NO airplanes under any of the open hangars!  We have about 350 airplanes here and most are at another local airport and the rest have been moved to an area of higher ground on the airport.

By about noon tomorrow we're supposed to reach record heights and hopefully it doesn't reach the airport.  Although our previous floods have gotten pretty darn high and this is supposed to be even worse than those!   Eesh!  lol

Anyway, I'll snap a few shots tomorrow and show you guys what our empty maintenance shop looks like! Smiley

I hope the floods keep back. It's just horrid when you have to watch them slowly rise higher and higher.
