FSX of course! Grin

After 7 months of telling my parents about it, I think it payed off!

I got the deluxe version as weel Grin

Now I just have to load it...all 15 gig of it Tongue


Hehehe...I'm a  happy camper. Grin

I'm gonna get FSX, Windows Vista, and an entirely new PC once DX10 get out and goin'.  Life'll be sweet, unless DX10 sucks, which it wont... Wink

Dont worry, screenies will be provided once i hav a nice grasp for the sim...
 

...&&FS Water Configurator+ has new modifications in the works, plus DirectX 10, Service Pack&&1, and Radeon HD 3+ Series support.

if you buy a pc now you get windows vista upgrade free, why you ask? is cheaper.

Good question. I was about to ask that myself.  Grin

I don't have much of a computer but I'm getting pretty good/reasonable performance after following a bunch of the mods and tweaks. I have most sliders up about half way. FSX looks great and flying is really smooth in most situations. Only having problems in heavy scenery like large airports and detailed add on scenery.

From what I see in FSX is that frames per second aren't top consideration. Smoothness is what you need to look for. In some places I get smoother flight at 17 fps in FSX than 40 fps in FS2004.

and excellent observation..

24-28fps is where the frame-lock should be set on FSX or FS9 even with the best video card(s). 20-22 for low-medium cards such as x800xt
