I really feel like a n00b, but i can't seem to turn on the displays in the PMDG 747-400F, it worked in the normal one, but my dad says it has an Avionics-Master-Switch somewhere, is this true, if so, where?

You might want to turn on the battery (and have standbypower in either AUTO or BAT position)

Normally the capt. instruments draws power from AC bus 3, but in event of unpowered AC bus 3, the AC bus 1 acts as a backup (hence select STANDBY POWER to AUTO since this will power AC bus 1.)

think this will help.

the BUS TIES should be in auto, and thus will take care of themselves without interference from you.
From a cold and dark cockpit, you'd need to turn on the battery and the standby power in order to fire up the display units.

If that is our aim..  Smiley
