I don't remember, if it ever did...

I've been flying the default Beaver around the lakes and bays in northern Michigan.. saving and countinuing over the last few days.. I never let the fuel get too low (topped off in Houghton) so I kinda let that slip.

I was making some rather steep turns around a Carp Lake, looking for the best landing angle and the engine quit   Shocked

I leveled the wings and started trimming for best glide and it started right back up. As I looked down at the gauges and tank-selector (seeing that the tank I was on read "empty").. the engine quit again, this time for good.

Of course, switching tanks solved my problem and I went about making a normal landing..

I'm pretty impressed that FSX gave me fuel starvation while banking on a near emptty tank.. and more impressed that it fired back up (albeit briefly) when I leveled the wings..

Is this just an FSX thing.. or has it happened to any of you in FS9 ?

FSX also has real carberation too, So if you roll a Prop over the engine will be 'Starved' of fuel. Glad they added that...

Cheers, Gunny

Err.... Thats been in all versions of FS and CFS that i've tried. And won't happen if the prop engine has fuel injector pumps.

Fuel starvation is an old concept in the FS series.
