With the VC view I have window reflection that appear to be from inside the cabin. My system or maybe my screen doesnt render these to well and was wondering if there is a way to have the high detail Vc without the refection? I tried unchecking just about every thing. Maybe you guys can point me in the right direction.

Thank
Pk

Same here I have been trying to find a way to disable this also, it is annoying and I dont find it that realistic.

I think the reflections are part of the model, and therefore cannot be fixed.  I've seen this repeatedly in various aircraft, and also tinted glass.

To test this, you can move the viewpoint outside the aircraft with whatever keys are assigned to that function (I forget which, see the key assignments); you would then see a clear view outside.  It's not your system or screen.

If the reflections are interfering with the 2D cockpit side views (the front view should be OK), you can reset the eyepoint from within the aircraft.cfg file (look for [VIEWS]); you can set the view more or less on the nose of the plane so that when you view from within the 2D you get a clear view outside.

The [VIEWS] numbers are IN/OUT, UP/DOWN, LEFT/RIGHT (I hope I got the order correct).

They are probably blended in the texture because they dont move when the viewpoint moves.

Thanks all, I will look at moving the view point. And yep the Lear was the A/C that realy got my attention on this. I wasnt sure if it was my system or what.  I was hoping it might be in a texture file or something in the A/C congfig file.

Thanks again

If in fact it is a texture then if it can be located it may be possible to fix.

I remember in IL2 Pacific Fighters the Hellcat had this same refection added to it, it was so bad it basically rendered the F6F flyable, they released a patch that contained the fix.

Well I checked the A/C folder and there is a file in there named A321_reflections.dds. I added a comma to the file name (.,dds) and checked, and the window reflections are gone!! Not sure what else it has a inpact on but I see that file in few a/c. Will give it a flight today and check it out. Just a fyi
