Does anyone know where I can find which boats/ships I can land on?

Crank up the sea traffic and then look around some port areas...you should see some huge container ship or even an oil tanker...I wouldn't know..I don't have FSX installed...but I am just guessing Grin Wink

Ashar is right, most ships are landable, the cruisers have also helipads on there front deck.

For some reason I can't land on the boats unless I'm in the middle of a mission, i haven't found an aircraft hanger to try this outside the missions.  If crashes are on, i get close to the ship and it crashes me, crashes off and i go through the boat.
