Well, it used to be a screen shot, but i fiddled...
Its an idea I am putting forward for my A-level Graphics mini project where, like the title says, design a Christmas card based around the environment for a company called Astrazeneca, and the winner gets there card sent to 1000's of employees around the world. The only problem was it had to be based on the environment, yet not too Christmasy, such as santa on his sled. So i came up with this, a plane flying over some snowy winter mountains (to represent Christmas) and rather then exaughst gases i used flowers (to represent the environment)... Few!
BTW, that thing in the sun is the Astrazeneca logo.

humm.. not exactly my taste, lose some of the grain, or rather use a diffrent filter. I wouldnt use sutch bright colors either... I like the logo and the setting but the flowers and filter you used just kiled it for me.
Im just being harsh as you said this was for an actual project or copetition as it may be.
Good Luck!

Please be harsh! Its the only way I can improve!
BTW its actually not that grainy but i have shrunk it down from 1000x760 and compressed it alot, so it doesn't look to good up there!

HI EGNX,
I like the majority of it. It's really quite good!
Only criticisms here (you said be harsh....)
- The mountains and aircraft are perfect. the effect you've used makes the mountains look very Christmassy indeed, but I would use a smaller aircraft (like a King Air or a Cessna Grand Caravan) at a lower altitude (mind you, not much lower), with perhaps a flowery paintjob instead of having flowers coming out of the exhausts....in my opinion it looks a little 'abstract'.
I hope I helped...if not, please ignore this post
