Yeah, the shaders on the water and the special effects suck up quite a bit of memory.

well im pretty happy with the results.I knew from the beginning that FSX wont run on my pc on full settings so this is not a big issue with me.Atleast i play 24 FPS on very dense cities now.

If you have an nVidia graphic card then you gonna have to download RivaTuner programm and under direct 3d section under shaders  disable the pixel shader and vertex shader.

What are the specs of your computer and what are your settings in FSX?  Your screen shots look good.

MS has stated that FSX runs Shader 2.0 in the background so future developments can take place.  Like the thread says, may be a good way to boost your frames my turning it off.  Todd
