You could always just clone out the sign, if you have any sort of photo editing software. I'm sure it wouldn't be classed as editing, really.

Just as a question ? Does DC-3 allow DC-3 only, as airline plane or such, or military C-47, too ? Just to figure out possibilities.... I´d love DC-3 only, there are some airforce DC-3´s, too aren´t there... but there are sweet airline liveries....

Looking forward to see what Krigl is coming up with !

Any variation of DC-3 is allowed, C-47 is fine. And you're right, there are a vast array of liveries available.  Smiley

On the cropping issue, as Cspyro mentiones cropping is allowed, and Tweek, cloning would be not considered an edit as long as it's done solely to delete an unwanted "pause" sign or similar image.  Smiley

Actually Theis, the B-18 is a variation of the DC-2, so it doesn't qualify. Not the most attractive bird anyway, agree?

WhataboutaXCG-17then;D[img]http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/XCG-17.jpg

Douglas XCG-17, converted from a C-47.  In glider form, the XCG-17 could carry 15000 lbs of cargo, and was towed by a single C-54 or two C-47s.  Besides the cargo space available within the fuselage, the wing panels and nacelles were converted to carry bulk fuels.

Tell you what Theis old pal, if anyone can find a freeware version of the XCG-17, then decides the available liveries are suitable, it qualilfies.  Wink

Reminder: Absolutely no payware unless you have been assigned Category #6
