Ignoring all the anti-Daley sentiments for a moment, what the author is saying is very smart and true. If the US wants to ban GA from flying over cities, then they have to do a lot more than that to prevent terrorism

Daley is luckey I am not the head of the AOPA. If I were, I would decare a holy war and mobilize volunteers into a militia.

True to some extent, but AOPA members do more than talk amongst themselves... they are speaking in schools, on the web, in the street, and at town meetings.
Every time this sort of thing happens, I find myself acting as unofficial spokesman for America's other GA pilots, bringing people back to reality after they've been hyped up by the politicians and hand-wringers... most of the people I work with have learned a thing or two about aviation recently. Grin
